Research progress in the development of incision approaches for endoscopic thyroid surgery

Abstract:

Surgical treatment of thyroid neoplasms is the first choice. With the continuous improvement of patients' requirements for aesthetic effects, endoscopic thyroid surgery has become an important treatment method for thyroid diseases. Endoscopic thyroid surgery under different surgical approaches has become clinically feasible, but there are differences in clinical effects, surgical characteristics, adaptive scope and other aspects of different approaches, as well as in the difficulty of surgical operation. Therefore, how to choose the appropriate approach to ensure the clinical efficacy, minimally invasive and aesthetic effects has become the focus of clinical research. This paper reviews the current development of endoscopic thyroid incision approaches, and expounds the unique advantages and limitations of different surgical approaches, in order to provide reference for clinical application.
