Abstract:

Radical resection is the mainstay treatment of colorectal cancer. In recent 20 years, with the development of medical science and technology and the continuous update of surgical concept, laparoscopy has become the main way for surgeons to perform radical resection of colorectal cancer in China. Surgeons in our country have been committed to the exploration and promotion of new concepts, new approaches and new operations of laparoscopic right-side colon cancer resection, which has played a positive role in improving the level of laparoscopic operation of ascending colon cancer in China. The concept of complete mesocolic excision has promoted the standardization and quality control of laparoscopic right hemicolectomy in China; the exploration of surgical approaches is an important embodiment of the evolution and development of laparoscopic right hemicolectomy in China; from hand-assisted laparoscopy to robot-assisted surgery, the minimally invasive laparoscopic right hemicolectomy in China has been continuously improved. In the future, Chinese surgeons would join hands with international counterparts to better improve the quality of laparoscopic right colon cancer radical surgery, to optimize the comprehensive therapuetic strategy in the perioperative period, in order to improve the prognosis with rapid rehabilitation.
