Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the safety and efficacy of “single-stitch” pancreaticojejunostomy in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy(LPD).

Methods

The clinical data of 100 patients who underwent LPD from January 2018 to January 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the anastomosis method, they were divided into traditional group(n=56 cases)and single-stitch group(n=44 cases),in which the traditional group adopted pancreaticojejunostomy and the one-needle group adopted single-stitch pancreaticojejunostomy. SPSS 25.0 was used for data processing. Perioperative indicators were expressed as(

xˉ
±s)and independent sample t test was used. Pancreatic texture, postoperative pathological types and incidence of complications were tested by Chi-square test or Rank-sum test. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.

Results

The operation time and pancreaticojejunostomy time in the single-stitch anastomosis group were shorter than those in the traditional group(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the incidence of postoperative pancreatic fistula, bile leakage and gastric emptying disorders between 2 groups(P>0.05).

Conclusion

“Single-stitch” pancreaticojejunostomy can effectively shorten the intraoperative anastomosis time, and the difficulty of suture is not limited by the size of the pancreatic duct,so it is a safe and feasible anastomosis method in LPD.
