Abstract:
Laparoscopic anatomical right hemihepatectomy, as one of the most common liver operations, has been gradually standardized and streamlined. For large malignant tumors of the right liver, laparoscopic right hemihepatic surgery via anterior approach has obvious oncologic advantages. In this operation, the right hepatic pedicle was dissected and occlusion firstly, then the liver parenchyma and the right hepatic vein were severed, and the ligament around the liver was dissected finally, which could greatly reduce the risk of tumor spread and metastasis caused by the turning and squeezing of the liver tumor in the process of dissecting the perihepatic ductile band during operation. In this paper, a video of one case of laparoscopic right hemihepatectomy via anterior approach for a huge tumor of the right liver, was taken as an example to discuss the operative process and notes.
