Abstract:

This is a case of robotic assisted radical resection of intra-hepatic cholangiocarcinoma located in left liver with hilar invasion. Surgical strategy took that of Bismuth typeⅢb hilar cholangiocarcinoma for reference, which included resection of left lobe and left caudate lobe, choledochoplasty of three branches of right hepatic duct,trans-L foramen retro-colon high level hepato-jejunostomy,and radical resection of regional lymph node. The surgery operation was uneventful, with an endoscopic operative duration of 175 mins, and no significant blood loss. Similar clinical reports remained very few,and no unified and standardized methods exists. This case showed the surgical methods of the our team in Chinese PLA General Hospital, with a good repeatability, and was technical special in the sequence of specimen resection, the method of lymphadenectomy and high-level hepato-jejunostomy.
