Abstract:

This video shows a case of primary liver cancer with obvious liver cirrhosis background. The tumor is close to the middle hepatic vein, right hepatic vein, and right anterior hepatic pedicle. After adequate preoperative evaluation, robotic right anterior lobe(S5/8)segmentectomy was performed. During the operation, the robot’s high-definition magnified field of view and the advantages of the instruments were fully utilized, and the right anterior hepatic pedicle, middle liver, and right hepatic vein were exposed through the trans-laennec membrane approach, and the right anterior lobe of the liver was completely resected. It reflects the obvious technical advantages of the da Vinci surgical robot system in complex liver resection.
