Abstract:

Anatomical hepatectomy has been gradually accepted by surgeons since professor Masatoshi Makuuchi proposed in 1985. Under the premise of radical resection of tumor, anatomic segmental resection of liver retains more liver function, which is an ideal surgical method for tumors limited within hepatic segment. However, Laparoscopic segmentectomy of the liver is more difficult and could be carried out well by all surgeons. In this paper, the difficulties and strategies of laparoscopic segmentectomy were discussedbased on relevant research progress and our own surgical experience.
