Abstract:

Obesity is the most important reversible risk factor for OSAS, and 40 percent of obese patients suffer from OSAS, while 70 percent of OSAS patients are obese .In the treatment of OSAS, the 2013 version of the United States in OSAS specification guidelines point out that it is strongly recommended fat weight reduction treatment to patients with OSAS, now metabolic and bariatric surgery for obesity is an unique and effective treatment sustaining a long time , which not only treat obesity, obesity complications, but also has significant curative effect, among them the recovery rate of OSAS is as high as 84%, the remission rate is 86% . metabolic and bariatric surgery has just introduced the field of OSAS, but the mechanism of treatment of obesity with OSAS is not clear, the choice of surgical indications and surgical methods is not uniform, so, the metabolism of weight loss surgery application status for the treatment of OSAS was summarized.
