Abstract:

Due to its insidious clinical manifestations, cholangiocarcinoma is often in the middle and late stages of the disease after diagnosis, resulting in loss of surgical opportunities. Extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is the most common primary malignant tumor of the bile duct, which can be divided into two subtypes according to different anatomical locations:hilar cholangiocarcinoma and distal cholangiocarcinoma. Currently, for patients unable to undergo radical surgical resection, various tumor ablation treatments can be used to prolong the survival of patients. This paper mainly summarizes various tumor ablation treatments, including photodynamic therapy combined with biliary stent implantation, endoscopic radiofrequency ablation, and irreversible electroperforation combined therapy. This paper expounds the progress and application of various treatment methods in clinical practice, and explores the curative effect and treatment difficulties of different treatment methods for clinical reference.

Key words: Bile Duct Neoplasms, Photochemotherapy, Endoscopic Radiofrequency Ablation, Electroporation
