Changes and Development of laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery in China over the past 20 years

Abstract:

It has been 20 years since the first laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery was successfully performed in China. During this period, laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery has been widely performed in various medical centers nationwide and has become one of the conventional treatment options for gastric cancer patients. After more than 20 years of development, the initial exploration and imitation of laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery in China has developed to the present stage, which attaches great importance to the clinical data output and evidence support of laparoscopic surgery, and shows the academic strength of China on the international academic stage. In the future, individualized and minimally invasive gastric cancer surgery based on clinical evidence will be the development tendency of minimally invasive gastric cancer surgery, In addition to further improving the surgical outcome of gastric cancer patients, it will also improve the technique level of minimally invasive surgery of gastric cancer in China.
