Abstract:

With the advent of the era of minimally invasive surgery, hernia and abdominal wall surgery as a microcosm of the development history of surgical have also been affected. Laparoscopic hernia surgery has the advantages of less trauma and fast recovery. Once it came out, it was quickly promoted worldwide. Compared with foreign countries, China’s laparoscopic hernia surgery started relatively late. However, due to the large number of patients and the good professional quality of Chinese hernia surgeons, after 20 years of development, China’s laparoscopic hernia surgery has reached the international advanced level in terms of quantity and quality. With the advent of the 5G era, the advantages of high-speed communication technology should be given full pay to benefit more hernia patients with minimally invasive technology.
