Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of gastric carcinoma related anemia and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Method

Clinical data of 400 patients with gastric cancer admitted from June 2020 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, and the incidence of cancer-related anemia was analyzed. The distribution of cancer-related anemia was observed. SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data. The measurement data of normal distribution are expressed as(

x¯
±s)and t test is adopted. Counting data is expressed as % and tested by χ2. Single factor analysis of cancer related anemia related factors;Logistic regression was used in multivariate analysis to analyze the independent risk factors for cancer-related anemia, and P<0.05 indicated statistically significant differences.

Result

Among 400 patients with gastric cancer,248 developed cancer-related anemia(62.0%). Among them,64 cases were mild,128 were moderate,32 were severe, and 24 were extremely severe. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age,TNM stage,KPS score, hypoproteinemia and whether to receive chemotherapy(P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age >60 years, stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,KPS score ≤60,hypoproteinemia and chemotherapy were risk factors for cancer-related anemia.

Conclusion

The incidence of gastric cancer-related anemia is relatively high, mainly mild to moderate,in which age,TNM stage,KPS score, hypoproteinemia and anti-tumor therapy are risk factors for cancer-related anemia.
