Abstract:

In the past 30 years, laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer has gone through the initial exploration and the evidence-based study, and has now become the mainstream technique for the surgical treatment of rectal cancer. However, promoting the standardization of laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer is still an important task of colorectal surgery in China. Carrying out clinical practice of rectal cancer diagnosis and treatment based on the existing evidence-based medical evidence, formulating standardized surgical technical specifications, and promoting the construction of a systematic, scientific and innovative training system and data platform are the key to improving the standardization level of laparoscopic rectal cancer diagnosis and treatment.
