Abstract:
Objective To investigate the risk factors of lymph node metastasis in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
Methods The clinical data of 89 patients with ICC from January 2014 to December 2018 were analyzed retrospectively .Statistical analysis were performed by using SPSS 24.0 software. The survival curve was analyzed by using Kaplan Meier method, and the count data were expressed as [n (%)]. The univariate analysis of factors related to lymph node metastasis wwere examined by using Chi square test. The variables with statistical significance were included in multivariate logistic regression analysis. A P value of <0.05 was considered as statistically significant difference.
Results Compared with patients with lymph node metastasis, lower recurrence rate and mortality was observed in the patients without lymph node metastasis (63.9%, 52.5% vs. 82.1%, 78.6% ) with better prognosis (P<0.05). Univariate analysis showed that CA199, tumor location, number and diameter, degree of differentiation and lymph node size were risk factors for lymph node metastasis (P<0.05); Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that high level of CA199, tumor diameter >5 cm and lymph node >1 cm were independent risk factors of lymph node metastasis of ICC (P<0.05).
Conclusion High level of CA199, tumor diameter >5 cm and lymph node >1 cm are the independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis in ICC.
